I wouldn't say useless, my friends hatch with a gsr stock everything except jg manifold, exhust, crower 403 cams, and ported head burned a crvtec hatch. The crvtec hatch had camshaft, Skunk2 manifold, header, ecu, some bottom end done to it. So im assumming it not all that useless, in my opinion. I also have on eon my fully built n/a motor.

Which has 0 to do w/ how much the intake mani helped.

More mods are needed before the stock intake mani is the restriction.

What most people are saying is that putting on a jg IM is going to make you lose hosepower because JG advertise stats that, " it makes power from 700 on up " something like that. BUt I was showing an example of how the manifold still helps out for a close to stock car.

I just did this to my gsr a couple weeks ago. I did not get a whole lot of power from it. I did the throttle body and the manifold. You will lose a little power to about 5k rpm. But after about 6 to 7k it stars getting fun. I installed myself and it was kinda a pain to install. If you do this you really need some cams and stiff valve springs so you can rev higher to get the most out of the manifold. The low power still feels pretty strong but i also have a final drive. Its a good mod especally for the low price but I would wait till you get some stiff valve springs so you can rev higher. You also will want to tinker with the fuel setting with a vafc or something.
