Default V1 remote display install pics

You guys asked for more pics...here they are:

pull the clock out:

Then take the guts out:

Now take your remote display and duct tape (use duct tape cause zip ties won't work here) your remote display to the clock cover:

Run the wiring like this:

from behind the clock, to where the cluster is, like this:

Daylight is where the opening for the clock is...this shot is from the cluster:

Now run the wiring down to behind the stereo to the module/connector thing supplied by v1...:

Put everything back together, and it'll look like this:

now, go have one of these:

Enjoy.

Wow.. THANK YOU! that looks amazing! perfect fit!. Where did you put your Valentine One though? the main unit? I'm wondering where to put mine (when I get it) so I still get the same radar "visibility" as if it was on the windshield.

Glad to see someone sportin a tan interior.. i'm not the only one? lol

btw what is that little black device right above your dimmer switch?

SWEET! talk about a concealed display... looks like an advanced air freshener or something does it display black/not light up when the remote thing is being used? hows that work?

Also, how is the V1? Catch any piggies lately?

I did mine today very easy, I have yet to drive the car at night, which brings up the question.
The display has a dimming lcd, being in the dash and all is it hard to read?

those who have a v1 will never get another radar detector. those who don't, just don't understand.

$400 for the base unit
$40 for the remote display unit
