ZC Transmission question

Default ZC Transmission question

Can a DOHC ZC trans bolt up to a SHOC ZC engine with no problems?

p.s i grabbed the shorter CV axel to check if it would click in, and it did...

I think the dohc zc is the only one that can. But don't take my word for it

ZCtrans will bolt to any 88 00 D series engine

well i figured that it will bolt up to it but do i need any thing differnt for it like as intermediate shaft

hush22 is right it will bolt up to 88-00 d-series and no you dont have to use an intermediate shaft. just order the native left side axle for your chassis.

the ZC transmission uses the larger diameter equal length Integra type axles and a ZC intermediate shaft - the factory unequal length CRX/Civic D-series axles will not work with the ZC transmission - the diameter of the portion that goes into the transmission is too small and they have a different spline count - if you were able to get a stock CRX/Civic axle to fit, you don't have a ZC transmission

That is ONLY the DOHC ZC trans.
SOHC ZC is just like any other 88~00.
