This happened last night after I took it for a freeway run, got back home n noticing the idle fluctuates didn't think nothing of it till I woke up this morning and problem still occurs!! Could it be my iacv? I'm not throwing any check engine codes!

Why it happed all of a sudden im not sure ha but least cleaning your iacv is a easy job and doesnt take long, mine has to be cleaned every now and then like i did it last week for the fourth time thinking about doing it one more time though this weekend just make sure its clean.

and this seems to only happen to me n my bro who has a DA with b20B swap :/ his was pretty bad n just got tired of it n sold it!! so ill give it a shot Friday when i pull the tranny out n replace my clutch..thanks!
Pull off the intake so you can see the two bypass holes inside the throttle body on the firewall side. Insert your finger into one of the holes while it is pulsing, if it stops pulsing on the top hole it is the IACV, if it stops pulsing on the bottom hole it it the FITV. this is also an easy fix. the plastic plug inside usually unscrews after a lot of vibration. https://honda-tech.com/forums/appearance-build-threads-122/morassos-1993-civic-cx-hatchback-build-thread-2194201/ this is a good write up on it it is the first issue

Mine did the same. Took off the FITV, cleaned it all out, put it all back together and it idled fine. Apparently there's an issue with the threaded plastic piece coming loose, only took about 20 mins to fix though

Yup no problem i figured that was the problem. The spedo cable is prob just pulled out a little. It is in the trans right below the throttle body. you prob knocked it loose. I usually pull it out and pull the inside cable out just a little. then make sure it engages in the speed sensor. Then i push the outer portion down on the sensor.
Yeah, it's not a problem right now since I'm going to pull my trans out tomorrow n change the clutch...hopefully everything goes as planned n not be raining tomorrow!! If it does I'm shet outta luck haha...lovin the gsr tranny tho!! Can wait to see how it's like with the new clutch going in!!
not really fluctuating, mines just a bit low, and ive already cleaned my IACV and down vacuum leak checks, plus it doesnt hurt to just go in and tighten it up and clean my tb while im there eventho for some reason everything in this cars motor is spotless as if its brand new
