The car is a 91 CRX. I just need to know what this plug is and whats it's purpose. If I'm standing in front of the car looking at the engine bay this plug would be to the left by the shock tower (if I'm inside the car it would be by the right shock tower). Any help would be appreciated. TIA.

 

It plugs into the engine harness.

if you are standing in front of the car, it would be towards the left shock tower. really cant miss it. the car has no other plugs that fit into it.

 

that plug has the following:
tach signal
starter signal
switched 12v power supply
oil pres switch
ground
water temp
alt

 

Passenger side shock tower. Near the other cabin to engine harness plug. Should be right by the fuse box in the engine bay. You can't miss it.

 

Maybe I was not clear on my post but this is more of what I'm looking for. I know where this plug goes to but where does the wires coming into it comes from. Is there a diagram somewhere that I can look at to find out what wire goes where? Thanks.

 

You mean where do the wires come from on the engine harness side or cabin harness side?

 

Yea, I want to know where the wires come from the engine harness side. Instead of opening up the engine harness side to determine what goes where I'm looking for a diagram to show me where each wire comes from the engine harness side.
