Default Hp limit .63 a/r - 70 a/r garret 60-1

Hey I've got a piston and rod lsvtec, what kind of power can I hope to make on this turbo, what does it max at out at ?

the block will be your limit with stock sleeves you sould stay at 500 or lower whp

ok before this thread fills up with nonsense:

a few years ago one of my friends made like 530whp on that turbo. boost pressure was around 21-23 psi. from what i see thats about the limit while still maintaining some sort of efficiency.

im currently making 475 with the turbo on 16 psi. ill push it up to around 20 on the dyno this year to net me approximately 525hp also. its not worth running a turbo way out of its efficiency just to say your run a lot of psi.


many many other factors at play here, from cam and exhaust setup, engine displacement, fuel type used and fuel system etc.
stock sleeves should not be the limiting factor. my advice is get a good engine management and good tuner and go for it
