Need new trailing arm bushings for my gsr trailing arms, don't want OEM replacements. Would the pin in my current civic OEM bushing fit into the replacement, or do i need to buy new pins. ?
When I bought my Prothane trailing arm bushings, they came with new pins and grease. Obviously YMMV, but if it doesn't come with new pins, the factory pins should fit.
ES were a LOT more work to install. I did them on my 90 integra, had to burn out all the rubber from the metal ring in the trailing arm and reuse the pin.
Why not OEM? From what I've read the trailing arm is designed to move in accordance to the OEM trailing arm bushings...ES polyurethane ones cause binding and someone said the rear felt more "twitchy"
When I made the change, I wouldn't say they made the rear more twitchy, but it did make it feel more solid. I've never had any binding issues, even after I slammed it to the ground, raised it back up again, and finally dropped it to a comfortable height.

Never had bushing squeak, bind or twitch. Day and night feeling when you change your bushings though.
The people that were complaining of the cars feeling twitchy/ or it binding were racing the cars. Theres only been a few people pushing their cars hard enough on the streets to tell. Thats what I read any ways.
A few even said the rear end felt much better after removing the ES bushings in favor or hard rubber.

Mugen bushings are stupid expensive. Just to do Mugen bushings in the front LCA's is looking about $350
Thankfully my uncle owns a construction compnay, so I get some work on the side.

$155 for a set + shipping...
I thought about it. This area has the most food joints per capita than any other in the country. Would be a way to make some cash while I try and finish out this degree.
YEAH A LITTLE.... 600$-800$ hahaha is WAY OFF!

I year ya, I'm a student so I'm perma-broke.
Hey if you want to get a leg up I've got a spare PIC compensator bushing I can send you!
Those are JUST the RTA bushings, which you can get from pic for $70 or 80. A full kit is like 1.2k or something ridiculous.
