VX wheels on my 96 DX hatch
so i bought some VX wheels for a good deal, assuming that they would fit perfectly fine since i researched it and people were saying that they should fit just fine, as long as it was for a CX, DX, or LX, but not an EX because it has larger front brakes.
now after putting them on and driving,it gets louder at higher speeds and it vibrates (kinda sounds like a f'd up wheel bearing), but i know that its not because when i had my stock 13" steelies on,they rode smoothly,so i dont know what to check for?
could it be the wheels rubbing on the calipers? would spacers fix the problem?( would i need extended studs too?), or should i grind down the calipers?
i know it would be better to just sell em back to someone else, but i like how they look on my hatch.
if anyone knows the best solution to this problem, lmk. thanks
heres a shitty phone pic of how it looks. haha

It definitely doesn't sound like you're having clearance issues. It sounds more like your tires are either out of balance, have improper tire wear, or you do have a bad wheel bearing. Wheel bearings can go bad from tires that have improper wear on them, wheels that are not balanced properly, or from just old age.
I would first have the wheels checked for balance, and the tires inspected for wear.

I would recommend getting the tires balanced / thread checked as that's the cheaper/less work fix.
Steelies came off the car before VX wheels went on right? shouldn't have the noise once you've got them back on, i'd suspect a bad wheel bearing aswell if the problem doesn't go away.
