Hi guys, I have a buddy of mine that has a skunk2 pro S coilover suspension setup. He wants to sell to me and I have a EK, I know that the shocks won't fit but I'm wondering if the ajustable sleeves and springs fit?

 

what are the coilovers from?

 

what car did the struts come off of?

why wont they fit?

If they are true Pro s coilovers, they are not sleeves.

You may be able to take the springs off and use them, but you'd still need the sleeves.

 

They are on a 2010 civic si but i just want the springs and ajustable sleeve not the shocks

 

They won't work. Don't try to work your way around things and just suck it up and buy the right parts for your car...

 

if they are pro-s's there aren't sleeves. The threaded part is a part of the shock.


You definetly cannot remove them.

 

That this question was even asked proves the OP doesn't have a clue. No. You cannot use "just the springs".

 

Well, depending on the length/ID of the springs, he could, however, this would mean he would have to buy new sleeves/colars.

 

And I COULD drive my car with my feet on the steering wheel and my hands in my pockets. It doesn't make it a good idea.

But, it would be just like using my springs. I am not recomending he use just the springs, that is just plain stupid.

 

sorry was just asking because i can get them for 60$ the complete suspension system why not try to find out if they could be modified or something heh? for 60$ i was just wondering never lost lol

I wouldn't put my safety on $15 per strut... **** that...
