engine shuts off issue
So i've been having some issue when i'm driving (of course). The problem usually happens in the morning weather i warm up the car or not. but i will drive for about 15-20 mins. and my engine shuts off. it doesn't sputter or anything. i can be at 45 mph and it completely just goes to 0. the other thing is, my radio and other electrical components don't miss a beat. my radio will remain playing, all cluster gages will be on, and headlights will remain on. now its happened to me a total of 5 times, 3 of which was on the way to the mechanic (which was also a 15 min drive). the mechanic had the car for 2 weeks and said that he's test the car every way possible and it never duplicated the problem but one time and the ecu never gave him a code. i'm in all lost on what to do. give you some other details, i drive a 96 acura integra ls coupe, manual transmission. also, what i have noticed is my idle has been idling reasonably low. but i'm not sure what is a safe idle. kind of a beginner in this field. if you guys can throw some suggestions my way of what to look at, it would be much appreciated.
so how intermittent is this problem? i mean, how often does it occur?
what does it idle at?
when the problem occurs, and it won't fire right back up, with the key in the run position, do you hear the fuel pump prime?
key in run, do you hear the 3 clicks from the main relay with check engine light shutting off on the 3rd?

800-1000 rpms is a good idle I believe.
Is your engine grounded well? Mine did this sometimes too randomly in the morning on the way to work, and when I checked under the hood the wire attached from the engine to my chassis was disconnected. I fixed it and I haven't had the problem since. Not saying it is your problem, but check your grounds and hope you get your problem fixed soon!
