Hi has anyone used this setup autronic sm2 and msd 8488 distributor
I have a jdm integra type r with the b18c engine as a track car ive had alot of problems with the autronic and stock distributor with sync errors i purchased a new alleged oem quality distributor which lasted 3 track days before he fault came back
I know the sm2 is bad for this it would be fixed with an autronic sm4 but im looking to get he msd billet distributor as i believe it has a stronger signal has anyone used this with an sm2

Can anyone give me there opinion on the msd dizzy then is it a worth while purchase

Good luck with the MSD distributor. I have not seen one customer have a good experience.

 

Bingo, it wasnt OEM. It was probably a peice of **** Distributor King unit. They are garbage and throw sync errors. I think you need to revisit a real OEM unit with new internals.
