Default New Coupe Concept

What is everyone thinking about the Accord Concept Coupe shown at the Detroit Auto Show?

They're probably thinking, "New NSX concept."

If they were to produce the actual concept, I would be interested. But, typically the production model is scaled back from the concept.

The last USDM Accord I liked was the 7th gen.

We've heard a lot of that kind of feedback. It seems it's not a big enough variation from the current gen for most.

That's because it is. Money is tight. We all should expect this platform (body) to last two gens like the Camry, Fusion-6, and Altima.

Good point. The less they have to change, the better their margins from not having to retool. Of course, if people don't buy them, it will not be considered a savings.

When you think about it, cars are really as good as it gets. So why spend the $$$$?

Cars from the 70s vs the 90s are lightyears apart. Each new gen was an major improvement over the past.

Cars from 2000 to today are not much different.

Or we can use technology too. Windows 8, 9 or 10 is not going to wow us like it did when Mircosoft introduced the Windows 95 .
