Default K24 BAR'd in a CRX? Has it been done?

Been searching around but can only find people doing k24 swaps and not BAR'ing. I want to BAR a k24 in my Rex but was wondering if its possible? Has anyone done it, can provide links to threads of people who have done it, or even just let me know based on their knowledge if its possible?? Any help is appreciated, thank you.

It's hard enough trying to bar a dohc zc,I doubt you could pass with a k24 in a ef(ed).
But the K20(newer year)is from a car(not truck) so it may not be impossible. I dont know but I would like to see someone with one bared.

If you can find a CARB approved exhaust manifold for this swap then there is hope.
Then you will have to deal with installing the immobilizer and figuring out what the inspector will pass you with for fuel system (return vs returnless)

speak for yourself. BAR was at the top of my list. here in Cali, i want my **** legal so i have no worries if i get pulled over. i like to keep driving my car after a cop cant give me a ticket for an "illegal" motor swap.

OP, i remember seeing a person on the EG section post about getting his K20 Del Sol legalized.

Thank you for the input guys. In most cases I've seen, in terms of having a K Bar'd, its been in an ek or eg and the gas tank has been swapped over. I could easily (well not so easily lol) throw a K in the rex and call it a day but like (crx si-r) said, I don't want to be hassled by cops and it kinda feels nice knowing everything under the hood is legal but still smokes the living hell out of alot of illegally boosted cars. Of course after (or if) I get it BAR'd, Internal works gonna be done so it looks stock (whatever stock k24's look like in a crx lol) but rages when you tap the gas. I've seen a company shooting for a Bar'd K in an ef hatch and they actually swapped the tank into the back of the hatch. I'll check out k20a.org, thank you, and if anyone else has any more info it would be most welcome. Thank you again.
