Default 1992 needs a T-stat 180 or 195???

I need to replace my thermostat and was wondering what you guys have used, your results, and factory spec. Advance says 180 is stock, but I've read otherwise that 192 is stock so a 195* would be best. I need to do this either tonight or first thing in the morning. Thanks!

This is one of those parts that really should be bought from the dealer. If you get the wrong temp the torque converter won't lock.

Just go OEM on thermostat parts. They are designed to fail open so there is no risk of engine damage. It's 20 parts vs 10 dollars at an auto parts store.

Really a no-brainer, IMO. I know this from experience.
