Default AMR vs Modus

Any thoughts on these 2? Specs and dyno sheets for the Modus units are available on www.teammfactory.com. Which do you suggest?

Modus looks like more re-branded coilovers. I can only suggest AMR's since it's the only of those choices I have experience.

What are your spring rates and do you have sway bars? How's the ride quality?

My DB8 has 10k/8k with ITR rear sway and ride quality has been on point with my Ohlins set up I had.

EK 12k/10k CTR sway same ride quality as my DB8

FA5 set will have 10k/8k stock sways (set hasn't shipped out yet) I'm sure the ride quality will be the same.

It seems to be hard to find people with a lot of experience with the expensive brands. Unless you hear good word of mouth from Modus why not stick with brands you know will be good. AMR has a good reputation around here at least, and there's other options people don't commonly discuss like Koni coilovers.

I don't think they're much more expensive than a Koni/GC setup if you compared the numbers. I was more hoping for someone with technical knowledge of the shock dyno sheets mfactory has published and what they thought of it or how it compared to users of AMR.

I've spoken with Andy from AMR but I've not made any financial commitments at the moment so I guess my options are still in the air and wanted to see what Modus was all about.

The spring perch on the Modus coilovers look remarkably similar to the AMR.

Not yet, been away from Hilo for over a year. For sure they are going on as soon as I get home.
