So i'm new to the import game..i just picked up a 2000 Integra GSR with a blown motor. The car is overall in amazing body shape. Came with the blown b18 and 5-speed trans. I picked up a new b18c from Arlington, Texas with 23,000 original miles and have 50mm Turbonetics complete turbo kit ready to go on the car. Hoping my first import build is a success. How do you know the B18c only has 23k on it? That is practically unheard of, so it is most likely that the guy lied to you. You will be lucky if it only has 70k on it. But good luck with the build, sounds like it gonna be nice. Pleas post pics of everything asap, car, engine, turbo etc.

Day I brought her home.

 

Blown motor pulled.

 

Dam I want blades!

 

New motor that was said to have 23,000 miles on it..and the teardown of the blown motor begins.

 

Turbonetics 50mm turbo kit..car came with everything needed to run the kit. (hondata, computers, etc.)

 

Split both motors and trans tonight and began the tear down of the new motor to install head studs.

Holy hell that thing is so clean inside and out! And it came with MSD blaster, poly mount insert, fuel pressure gauge, ss braided line. The engine does look really clean too. And don't even get me started on how nice that turbo kit is! This thing is gonna be so boss when it is done. The turbo kit came with the shell? How much did you get it for?

Where in Jersey are you? I'm right over the Commador Barry bridge, hopefully you are close cause I would love to come help you build this engine and install the engine and turbo kit. But I am one of those people that when I'm watching people build engines and install stuff like that, I want to cut it and take over lol. Just like when your buddy is trying to search something on the computer or playing a videogame and you just get frustrated watching them go slow or mess up so you want to tell them to get out of the way lol. You know what I am saying?

 

What was wrong with the blown motor? If the cylinder walls are ok and there aren't any holes in the block, you tryin to sell it? lol

 

I paid 5k for it all..now i know thats steep for this car i keep getting mixed reviews on how i paid to much or that was a good price but i know how it is. The cars simply going to be a hobby car. Any car becomes a money pit and why not dump it into something i can make quick rather than my lifted jeep haha And the car came with everything you see there minus the new motor. I'll be sure to get a shot of all the goodies it came with tomorrow.

5k is a little steep, I mean it's so clean but as a shell, it's worth maybe 2k, and the trubo kit, if it came with manifold/turbo/fmic/piping/wastegate/bov, and the hondata socketed computer, I would say maybe 1,500 for that. So maybe 4k tops for everything, but hey you obviously have the money so why not.

 

Rofl, 1.5k for whole turbo kit? U talkin dollars or euros

If u want a quality kit, you'll be paying a bit more then 1.5k dollar haha

Nice clean shell and the motor has very low miles, that's rare.

 

If only these green integra's had black interior. I would be all over it.
