Just joined this forum today,still trying to learn how to use it. So I have some adjustable cam gears off my last lsv build. I had the head laying around my garage with choped vale cover and they got pretty nicked up. Wondering how to clean the gears up with out destroying them so i dont have to buy ones for my new project car. Any thoughts would be great.

More like gouges the gears look like somebody hit the with a chisle I think something droped off the shelf above and hit them the lol I just don't want to put them on and rip a my timming belt it's new

 

Uhm maybe file them down where needed.

 

If the gouges are on the teeth I wouldn't risk it...
