EF Sedan Build; Round 1
I've always liked the 88-91 bodystyle, but it wasn't until recently that I found myself building one. A buddy of mine found a 90 Civic Sedan LX for sale, so I picked it up for a pretty good deal. It's a 2 owner car, the most recent owner being an older gentleman. It's automatic, dpfi, and obd0. On to the pictures..

No rust or major body damage, so I felt like that in itself was a pretty good find. Plans for the car as of now:
-Auto to manual conversion
-DPFI > MPFI
-Obd0 > Obd1
-Headlight Harness Tuck
-Fuse box and Engine Harness Tuck
-JDM B16a

First and foremost, the single cam had to go. Pulled the old swap and started on the wiring. The fusebox was brought in to the glove box, battery was moved to the trunk, and the engine and headlight harnesses tucked.
They work but I want real one's with clips.
mine is all custom from behind the cat to the muffler.
its 2.25 piping with stock resonator. and a universal street magnaflow muffler.
mine is loud because the piping is almost double than stock and the outlet is like 3.5"
but I have an LS now.
with the single cam it was quite as ****
Haha thanks, I was thinking the same thing. Can't wait to get this thing on the road.
They look like they fit pretty well. I'd like the legit ones, but they're so ridiculously expensive. Yeah I was thinking 2.25 piping with a couple resonators and a decent muffler. I won't have a cat though.. Guess we'll just have to wait and see haha.
ebay dude! 40 bones

Nice find. Love me a EF Sedan
One of these days, I'm gonna daily drive one of these that still has ac.
But I'm gonna paint it that brown color they came in, and lower it on 92's.
What are your plans besides the b16a?

Appreciate it man. I'm going to be running A/C with the B Series. Just gotta figure out what all I need to put the system on. I'm not entirely sure yet on what wheels and suspension I want to run. I'll more than likely go with Koni/GC w/the extended tophats. Alot of positive feedback off that setup.
I have no idea what it'd take to put ac in a b series swap.
Everyone in MS is like NO AC NO PS GOTTA GO FAST, so I haven't gotten around to learning it yet.
And I have yet to hear anything bad about Koni/GC, I've never tried them, but the reviews speak for themselves.

Picked up a smashed SIR swapped hatchback; besides the powerplant, I'll be salvaging everything for my auto > manual swap.

Pulling off everything in sight before sending it to the crusher.

Annddddd.. Now to start on the swap. Which is absolutely disgusting..

-Plans-
OEM Rebuild (New rings, headgasket, valve stem seals, vc gasket, etc)
Convert to OBD1 (Dizzy, injectors, etc)
Give the motor and trans a good cleaning, and powdercoat all engine brackets, valve cover.

Had no idea that Honda stopped selling B series top end rebuild 'kits.' Kind of a bummer, oh well I guess I'll have to buy everything individually or go Fel-Pro.
Sorry for the lack of updates, I know it's been like forever since I've been on here. Between school and work I haven't had a whole lot of free time. On to the pictures:
