Best compression ratio to run with JRSC @ 11PSI

Default Best compression ratio to run with JRSC @ 11PSI

I wanna know what is The BEST compression ratio to run with the jrsc m62 ported. I know higher cr = more heat @ 11-12 psi blah blah. That's why I wanna know what is the best cr to run for a good better throttle respond, and making good decent power and i know to make good power on the jrsc u need good flowing air blah blah. Another reason is Cause I see a lot of stock engine k20 type r with all that higher cr manage to make good power out of the jrsc well lmk guys BTW I need guys with experience please please be respectful and keep thread on topic. And no i didnt wanna go search through the "what jrsc are you running" thread thanks everyone

The answer really lies in what type of fuel you will be running.

What ever you do run e85 or meth injection. It will help a lot :-)

Run at least 10to1 id ur gonna use e85 or other good gas u could go to 11to1

Also make sure to build with forged pistons they take a lot of abuse from jrsc and look into the lht aftercooler or at least the meth injection

Ok am gonna put my trust in ya and run 10:1:1 or 10:1:2 which one is lower cause that's what supertech piston have to offer.

Btw am just gonna run pump gas 93 octane and yes I be running the lht with smaller heat exchange

the smaller the bottom end the more compression it can take


so a b16 would be safer than a b20 at 14to1


as stated above the compression limit all depends on the fuel. it also depends on air temps

you could push over 12to1 with pump gas and water meth and still be safe on a gsr/itr.

e85 or race fuel or other ethanol blend.
