suspension choice
Ive gone threw the forums and ive narrowed it down but im still not to sure...im trying to decide wether to get skunk 2 pro s, or d2 rs series, or the blackworks racing coilovers. i live in the city so you know how the road are but i plan on taking the car road racing this year.which one would be the best choice.my car has stock sway bars and both front and rear strut bars
why are they all a fail if you drive in brooklyn the street are bump central dont forget there like five pot holes on everyblock.the koni and the progress are nice but those dont go stiffer and low ive read threw most of the forums already
What are your goals?
And yes those three you listed are probably not the best choice.
You want to make sure that the shocks can sufficiently dampen the specific spring rates you want.

There are shitty streets all over the country. I'm from NYC so I know. Koni & Ground Control would be your choice. Pick the spring rates you want. Don't know where you've heard otherwise. Mess with Ksport & Chinese knockoff stuff if you want.

Do you daily drive the car?
yes daily driven i drag race the car but this year im going for roadracing ..i just sold my old suspension tien damper basics and those road nice but i couldnt lower the car without effecting the ride quality
Oh nice glad to hear your going to road race its a lot of run you should have a blast at it! We have used the Version RRs on the EG Time Attack car we sponsor driver seems to be very happy with them and hit the podium but I just wouldnt recommend them for street use at all.
my car is lowered year around but i raise it in the winter.the reason for me picking those coil overs is because they adjust height seperate from spring rate...i have nothing against progress cs and koni with ground control

Second, if by tension you are referring to pre-load, that only applies to fixed length dampers, and only if the perch is already high enough to remove all slack under full droop.
Third, that tension is meaningless and should be ignored.
