Default Very Easy Question. (Trans / Clutch fitment)

1992 Integra Clutch & Flywheel
1989-1991 JDM ys1 trans,

for some reason can't google if this works or not. I want to say yes because it's what I have, but I'm thinking no cause I'm not stupid?

Confirmed: 1989-1991 JDM Crx B16A first gen Ys1 trans needs a 1989-91 B series clutch. This **** ain't gon' work nuiggaaahh

Input shaft size is different on early b series transmissions. They changed in 92 if I'm not mistaken.

I heard the 'splines' on the 92+ years were bigger. Do you know what this would mean to me?

That's what I got from Google, perhaps someone could shed some light on what that means as I continue to google this myself.

*anti illiterate*

The clutch disc shouldn't slid on the input shaft of your transmission. Try and see if it fits. If it goes on and has little to no play on the splines and slides back and fourth easily you should be ok.

Well if they are different they are different, I got here the old ones and new ones have a 2 spline different. 91 older and 92 newer have 26 / 24.

The job isn't started yet, my parts right now are:
1989-1991 JDM ys1 close gear ratio & third gear set
B series flywheel with 1992 Integra clutch on it

I want a spare clutch like I have a spare flywheel. I know the B series flywheel will go on the B18a1, but I don't think the clutch will work. I shouldn't have to put it on it should be a yes or no thing thanks for the info so far.

I'm just debating do I go buy another 1989-1991 clutch from the wreckers to be safe incase the one on there is gone. Cause my motor is a 1990-1991 130 horsepower B18A1, not the 1992-1993 140 HP A1.

I know my current clutch will fit on the 1989-1991 trans, but i might have ****ed it when I blew the fat palm sized hole in my tranny lol.
