Leaking rack and pinion
While working on my LX, I see this on the passenger side:

Guessing this means I need a new power steering rack... From what I've read it's better to just get a new one because rebuilding it yourself can be a PITA without special tools. Is there anything that should be replaced or done while its out? And is there an good place it order one or shout I just go to a local parts store?

Replace the rack with a rebuilt one from an auto parts store. They generally carry a lifetime warranty. Check the tie rods when their out and get a wheel alignment when the job is done.
its fairly low... i havned checked the lvl in about a month, but ive never had to add any before, and i bought it in feb... ill make a run to the honda dealer monday if gas will allow it (closest one is an hour drive) and top it off and see how fast or slow the leak is.
Based on the amount of surface oil seen in the pictures, the boot is more than likely throwing PS fluid rather than grease. If so, then an end seal in the rack is leaking. Those leaks are often slow but messy, and will continue to throw fluid over the underside of the car. If that doesn't bother you, you can continue to top off the reservoir with PS fluid and just wait until the leak worsens or a steering problem arises.
