Default 92 Civic Si -- Intermittent wipers don't work. What ICU is compatible with my car??

I need an ICU with intermittent and rear wiper functions.

Which ICU can I use?

I see these on eBay, but I don't know if they have the intermittent and rear wiper functions.

What do you think?

Also, will Integra ICUs work? For example, these (one says "int" but there's no mention of the rear wipers), though they are a lot more expensive too, so I could probably get a new one for that much.

How do you know the ICU is bad?

I'm not sure of what civic ones have it, but I cant imagine the teg ones would be bereft of the intermittant wipers for all models (I swapped one from a 94 teg into my EJ1, thanks deschlong!!!) but you would need to confirm it came from one of the Teg coupe models which I believe have the wiper.

Using a Teg one also requires rewiring the connector, is this somethign you are even comfortable with? Its not an exact swap.

If I recall correctly, there's a box on the back of the under dash fuse box that has to do with intermittent wipers. Are you talking about the ECU or what are you calling the ICU? I have heard ECU and ICU used for the computer.

The Civic LX and EX came with intermittent wipers if this answers your question. The integra parts should work, not sure if/how they would be wired in. The under dash wiring harnesses are different.

Any 94-97 Integra ICU will be compatible with your 92-95 Civic's fuse box, however you'd also need the connector and/or pigtail since there are more pins, plus it offers front intermittent wipers. This will give you the option also of adding a lights-on chime (see sig for DIY.) The only ICUs that don't have int front wipers are from a USDM CX and the VX.

The ICU does not regulate REAR intermittent wiper function, nor anything at all to do with the rear wiper. Rear int is only possible with another DIY retrofit. (Again, see my sig.)
