I just completed my swap today and everything went fine except for my rpm...it won't go pass 3200 rpm. Why? Is it cuz of the ecu?

 

no. the non-obd ecu should work fine. probably in limp mode.
check the codes

 

Your in limp mode..what cels are you throwing?what ecu are you using?

actually, if it's still non-obd, there is an led on the pcm. it will flash the code when ever the key is turned to run. no paper clip needed

you should be able to see the light better in the dark, but up to you man

 

So what I did today was pulled the "hazard fuse" 10A out for about 1 min or so and put it back in and started right up no cel and I could rev pass 3500 rpm and about 10 second later the cel came on and I couldn't rev Pass 3500 rpm again

well i just pulled the codes hopefully i read em right? i think it's CEL 16...1 solid blink followed by 6 quick blinks?
