so thought it be about time i throw up a thread of my build..

jdm honda integra da8 xsi

bought this car a year an a bit ago all i have done is put some generic superlow spring's in it... i hate to admit it but i didnt treat my baby right when i first got her, a few series of "F**K ups" has left it in no t 100% condition like it was when i first got it

any way's there's a few story's to the teg, the main one is i lost my license for another 15 month's with her so have plenty of time to get her how i want!!

at first ill throw up some pic's of where it is now instead of givn abit of a history lesson lol

thanks man, yeah poor one's allright!! theres also damage to the drivers door from it geting broken in to and the front bumber has it's own issues lol

but other than that the body and paint is in pretty good nick for a 19yo car

atm ive ditched the heating system in that pic, started disasembling the motor from the top pic (any one notice that?) , suspecting worn ring's.
and looking into wire tuck.

About damn time! lol Definately has some potential. I'm not up on the whole JDM integras, so is that a B17 or B16? Looks like it gonna be a great build since you ha:ve 1 year and 3 months to just work on it lol. I'm in for progress

JDM DA's are sex. Purriod. The b17a1 only came in 92-93 USDM Gs-r's man. It's a first gen b16, which is what the xsi came factory with.

 

4 door all the way! haha. yeah b17a's are rare as here.

when i brought it, it had a b16a2 and had a 0bd1 wire harness

 

i love my 4dr, its the only honda ive owned more than a month so far, and im gonna mod the **** out of it..good luck with build

an yeh dirty that red top motor was the faulty one, ive since riped it out and have it sitting there waitn for funds ahah.

wrona, yeah it is abit ruff glad you notice that, there is a few imperfections. even on the bonet grr. ive found most of the parts that i need but atm im working to get it running then do the rest

right now im reading up about wire tuck's, my crx has one and i think itl make a huge diffrence.. but for now it's more reaserch than work. cheers guy's keep yah posted

 

Lucky *** New Zealand *** jdm havin *** mofugga.....***! lol. When you do a wire tuck, PLEASE get rid of your ABS, those proportioning valve's are ridiculous lol. So happy mine didn't come with it.

I'm really contemplating moving to New Zealand in a few years because 1. They speak English, BIG plus. 2. JDM **** like whaaat. and 3. it's friggin beautiful! I just want to live there for a couple years, find me a DA6, an R32 Skyline too if I'm lucky, then bring them bichez back!

 

 

Are those pictures of the old engine with the red valve cover?

 

yup! can you see any can you see any think sticking out?

that ring around both all the wall's is from water geting left in other night started raining when i had the head off an it was jus sinting in the bay.. i used solvent to clean it and geting it honed.

see any valves not sitting right?

lil punk's eh! im gessn the guy's that stole my car first used the screw driver to try brake the lock then they tryd to wedge it betwen the door..wtf!..
i got the car back thank's to mate's that seen it parked up broken down.
i was working on it and had no oil in it, i had some grousome photo's of the whole in the block and the warped rod's lol... there went the smooth running b16a2, the motor was a champ!

thats also the 96 spec head.

 

oh dirty you can see the black top motor in the backround of the secound picture... thats my practise motor and the one for the crx

 

How long ago did it get stolen? Did they drain the oil and drive it to blow it on purpose or some ****? If you take a picture of the combustion chamber side of the head I can tell you if there is any noticable improper seating of the valves.

 

umm about the same time i signed up on here. i usualy leaves my keys on the bench whitch they found.

nah i was puting in a oil presure gauge an needed the t joint for the sender unit so was siting without oil for a cupleof days.
anyway go to help a mate at his house round the corner for the morning.. (this bit crack's me up) me and him painting the house, next minite we hear a honda geting raped,
we both crack up thinking what idiots!! few hours after i get the car home we click that it my car geting ringed out with no oil lol

going to head up town get a **** load of masking tape and a permanant marker and start sorting and mark witch wires are witch for the tuck

 

I bet the cop was triped out when he came up to your car and you were in the wrong seat. Lol

Have fun with that! I relocated my fusebox in my talon, I had to extend every wire, so I had to tape and label every wire twice, so annoying lol

fun i shall have!! lol do you guy's keep the sound deadner? im trying to not tear or rip it so i can reuse it but it's prity hard not to lol theres none in my crx, but my plan for the teggy is to make it as clean/sleeper as possible!

she's a prety big job! lol. i have no idea were to start! im guna do the headlight harnes first then go from thea.. ive decided im goin to take my time and do it my way havnt been able to find a thread any where for a da tuck..
