this is most definetly an impossible question to answer.

You need to figure out what you want, and listen to first.

Do you like boomy, punch, or low bass...what volume levels are you running at, are you concerned with sound quality or heavy bass? Do you have space limitations, would you like to use up the whole trunk?, Whats your price range? What is available in your area? Do you have a headunit? What are your upgrade plans?

You seriously need to answer these (sorry, i'm not trying to sound like an ***..) before you dive into audio...I like many others started out with buying some cheap stuff and playing around (at my expense) until I found what I liked, lets try to save you some cash and do it right the first time!

I have a Kicker Comp Vr dual 2ohm and an Eclipse 600 watt amo and is well rounded for all kinds of music.

i have two 10" infinity perfects powered by a rockford fosgate 600.4 (300x2 rms). not only does this hit ridiculously hard but it is very precise and clear. Most people that hear my subs think i have two 12" because they hit so deep and handle so much power while still staying clear.
great sound quality subs: infinity perfects, boston acoustics, phoenix gold x-max.
great spl subs: cerwin vega strokers, jl w7, rockford fosgate power hx2, kicker L7.

there are hundreds of other subs to choose from these are just some good choices to get you started. I have said this in many other posts but i will say it again, if you want two subs get two 8ohm subs and a 2 channel amp(and parallel bridge the subs) this way you get the most out of your amp while keeping it in a 4 ohm load. you can use the search function if you don't understand anything, or you can IM me.
