So im a little stumped....i did a 5 speed swap on my 91 sedan and i just bought a cluster from a buddy and i plug it in and it doesnt work...and iknow it works for the fact it came out of his car...anything special that i need to do???Or is there only a certain cluster that i can use???help please!!!!

 

Maybe for a fact that cluster is an 88-89. If yours is a 91 it will only work with 90-91 cluster. There not interchangeable unless some wiring modification is done.
