carrier bearing
my carrier bearing on my 2000 civic SiR is making noise. I ran the car on a hoist and listen to the wheel bearings and carrier bearing with a sethoscope. carrier bearing(located on driver front side) makes quite a bit of noise. this a common problem? how hard is it too replace(does it need to be pressed out or just pull the axel and unbolt it?)? and can I order one from honda or any aftermarket options?

By the looks of the illustration it's held on by snap rings

order the bearing for 35 bucks and look up the procedure on all data. looks like its held on by snap rings and need to be pressed out. as well pressing out the intermidate shaft. also told me to order a new axel ring and outer seal on the carrier case. so order thoses up.
sounds like i got everything correct or no? is it a bitch to do?
