Default Trust Japan exhaust/muffler EG ?

Does anyone perhaps have a picture of this fitted on a EG Hatch.
I can't find any other info about this one. There is one for sale and would like to see/read more about it.

How is trust as a brand for exhausts?

it's uber rare so it must be a good exhaust. p.s. if its correlated with greddy its junk.

So Trust = Greddy

Rare Trust exhaust must be good, but being Greddy it's junk.

Uhh, great

Greddy SP1 and found some pictures of it (not on a EG)

Looks pretty similar to a SP1 or WS2 from APEXi to me.

I think you mean this the other way around. The TRUST/GReddy SP exhaust has been around since the late 90's.

This should clear everything up: http://www.trust-power.com

Wish I had better pictures for you, these are the only pics I have from when I still had that exhaust. If I could find another one of these I wouldn't hesitate to drop down some money to have one again.

Thanks for the pictures. So from reading your post I assume you liked it a lot? Not to loud or weird sound coming out of this.

I actually bought it, it was to ''cheap'' to let it go by. No engine in the EG, or midsection etc. Can't wait to hear this thing.

I think I want it up a bit more towards the bumper for the looks.

It was extremely mellow at idle, almost stock sounding. Very mild in low rpm, a bit more throaty in the mid, and in high rpm areas the air filter was actually louder than the muffler. Those were the only two mods I had at the time, it was like 10 years ago. Today I have the same filter and an HKS sport exhaust (circa 1994 for the exhaust, same era as the Trust/GReddy SP1). Same thing essentially. Most people associate the HKS Sport mufflers with a very mild/mellow exhaust note. If I had to compare, the HKS I have now is just a tad bit louder. I think you'll be very happy with the Trust exhaust.

I'm happy to read that it isn't a loud exhaust. Didn't want that at all. I listened to some soundclips of the sp2, those did sound pretty good to me. So hoping this will be as well.

I'll be sure to post my thoughts about it here as soon as I can drive the EG.

Thanks for the reply, makes my anxious to get the engine in even quicker now

are those EK sideskirts on your EG posted above? They look larger than EK's to me. I like the look of it

Hahaha anticipation is a killer. I actually mounted an SP2 to my 91 hatch sideways and had the pipe extended and bent 90degrees to exit correctly. I LOVED the way that one sounded. As far as I can tell the main difference between the SP1 and SP2 was the tip.

Well I figured I'd tell what I think about this exhaust. Car is finished for a few months now. Normally driving around with a EG6 exhaust. I fitted this thing again, not sure why though. This thing makes some noise...

Think I'm just going to sell this and get something else for the crappy winter months (don't want to get a rusted EG6 exhaust )

Video

Also the exhaust is modified a bit. It is now shorter so doesn't stick out that much. And it hangs up higher towards the bumper.

Is that just the muffler section? No upgraded piping or resonator?

SRS midsection, supersprint header and a decat. So has sound dampers really.

But I don't think it will help that much if there was anything . That is way I put it up for sale, to loud for me

If that midsection didn't include a resonator then that plus the decat is why it sounds so loud.
