Whats up guys im lookin for a used motor for my 93' LS and seen lots of different combos of S***. Just need some ideas on what to look for thats good. Ill probly end up gettin another B18A1 but idk yet. thanks guys

It all depends on what you are planning to do with it. Look at other peoples builds and see what you like the best with what you are going for.

 

well i got another B18A1 134k on the block, he milled the head .033 port n polished it 0 miles on it. all new gaskets pumps belts etc. pretty clean good lookin motor for $250 since he milled the head it raised the compression a lil bit witch the LS motors need it i hear so pretty happy with what i got puttin the motor in tomorrow cant wait to see how it runs.

 

250 sounds to good to be tru, do you have any start up warrenty?

 

Warranty, highly doubtful. For $250 he bought it off some random dude, maybe on here. No one like that takes returns. And for that price, you can't really complain if there is a minor fault. Just double check everything, make sure everything is torqued to spec, an all the clearences are in spec.

dont have it in yet be a coupple more day befor i will find out gotta get a few more lil parts here soon but i had my mechanic buddie check it out before i bought it he said it looked good and no warrenty.
