Timing belt broke on my lude. I've decided to put a new engine in instead of rebuilding the head.

I had and H23A and I'm leaning on putting the H22A in and going VTEC wit it. I'm in So Cal.

What are your various opinions on what engine I should put in?

Go h22 then they are both the same but the one has a vtec head and oil squirters plus more power. Or you can just grab a h22 head and do a h23 vtec but you need to know what to get to put it together like water pump, timing cog gear, and timing belt off the h22.
