I just got quoted on my base coat paint and it doesn't make any sense to me.

for shopline the quote was $200 for a gallon
for global the quote was $525 for a gallon
and for Deltron the quote was $802 for a gallon

my question is why would delton cost more than global? I was under the impression that global cost more than deltron.

 

maybe someone confused the 2 prices? Ive never used global, I usually use Deltron, but was under the same impression that global was more than deltron.

 

i asked him 4 times if he was sure it was global and he was yeah was about to go with shopline because deltron was soo much more but if the global is 525 might spend the extra money for the global.

 

I talked to my paint guy... he said global is less expensive than deltron, but that its also older paint and not many stores carry it anymore.

 

huh cool i just thought that the quality of global was soposed to be better than deltron learned something new

 

if i were you i'd call PPG and ask. sometimes those automotive paint shops dont really know what they're talking about because they never were painters.

 

just got the color formulation sheet and it is global (D895- Blender in global line) is on it.
