jdm dohc zc dizzy?
hey guys i have a question that id like answered about the dizzy on my dohc zc.
My zc was running like crap recently and gave me bogging, startup, stalling and driving problems. I've been doing a full fluids flush and tune up to see if it would help. When i checked everything i found that the oil was super black and nasty, spark plugs were done for, antifreeze was in need of replacing, thermostat seal was old, and just crappy install of random parts. That might have caused my car to run like crap but i also noticed my dizzy wasnt even fully bolted down. Its being held on by just the top screw. I know thats not a good thing, so now i gotta find some bolts so i can securely bolt it up. The dizzy is held by the bolt on top and positioned all the way to the back.
My question is shouldnt the dizzy be centered? Obviously bolted by three bolts too. But could that be the reason why my ef would bogg, stall or even have trouble starting up?

I would double check the timing first, then check with a timing light. Your dizzy shouldn't need to be all the way to one side.
BTW I only use 1 bolt to hold my dizzy's on.
