When do vtec engage on a k24 in a 07 Auto accord? I've seen people say its at 5,600 but I can't feel or hear it crossover. I know it doesn't have the kick of a b-series but damn. Is there any known ways to control the rpm range? Say drop it to 3,500rpm. I know an intake and exhaust would probably help hear it but not really looking to put $1,000 in an auto that wont be modded anymore then that.

My bro has a cl7 (accord) and I have a cl9 (tsx) and on the accord the motor only gets slightly louder and on the tsx you can feel as well hear a little more kick, now the kick isn't as big as it was on my 97 gsr... If you want a bigger and more noticeable kick try a K20/K24 Frankenstein with the ep3 head cylinder then you might end up with 200hp+ depending if you tune it but this will maybe be around $3k for a nice build
