Here is his question.

I just wanted to get everyones opinion on doing a type r wheel conversion to a 95 sol. I have the access to the complete suspension and the 4 lug type r wheels. The tires are decent. They came off of a 95 jdm type r. I just got my del sol back on the road after the b16a hybrid swap the wheel bearing went bad and the tires need to be replaced. I need some opinion because i will be set to only being able to use accord and prelude wheels on the car after the swap. i have someone that i can unload my fornt suspension to do a conversion on a type r integra, for drag racing purposes.

95 is the very first year in Japan for the type r it did come with a four lug wheel set up. Just wanted to see what everyone thought about doing hte conversion.

If it has the same 5mm wider track and the big brakes, get it.

 

For sure. That'd clinch it for me. Unless you can't get wheels to fit.....is the bolt pattern 4 x 100 or 4 x 114.5??

Well, not speaking with the massive voice of wisdom here, but that's the same bolt pattern as Preludes and Accords, right? So finding wheels won't be a problem. The only issue would be as to whether you could get the correct offset wheel.

Alternatively, how about just replacing the 4 lug hubs with 5 lug? Can that be done as a direct part swap in this instance?
