Default Pay'd the R off off on Friday

So I had a few payment left on the R so I decided to go ahead and pay it off since I am in the market for a new DD. I wanted my credit to look as squeaky clean as possible.

I am currently debt free (at least for a month or so).

Its good that you finally got it payed off but wth took so long? I mean the newest R is 11 years old.

Is there really much point if your just going back into debt as soon as its payed off?

I bought the car used 3.5 years ago.
It was never my DD. My DD is currently a 04 F150 or an 88 civic. The truck is getting up there in age and needs a decent amount of maintance items replaced plus it doesnt get that great of gas mileage. The 88 isn't exactly up to todays safety standards plus I'm 6'3. I've been planning to get a new DD for months now but I needed to pay off the R before I went into dept for a another car.

Interesting, being 6' 4" I always thought the civic had a surprising amount of leg room. Couldnt even drive the car with the seat all the way back.

(88 Sedan and 91 Hatch)

I had a 90 crx hf back in the early 2000's and I was fine. I guess the older I get the more claustrophobic I get.

If I go to expo this year at least I will not have to worry about wrecking the car and still owing $$ on it lol
