Default 97 Honda Accord - Misfire at idle

I have a non-vtec 2.2 Accord that has a bad misfire at idle, once the car has warmed up. There is no lack of power when driving.

The CEL is on and I had auto zone read the codes, they said it has a misfire on cylinder 1 and random misfires.

I put new NGK Vpower plug in and NGK spark plug wires.

Here is a video of the problem (I go outside the car at the end)..

Any help of what to check next would be much appreciated.

Double check the gap on the plugs?

Did you do the cap and rotor as well?

Might be a distributor problem.

Have you checked your mechanical timing recently?

The problem was there before I changed the plugs. I set the gap .044 inches, is this correct?

I haven't changed the cap and rotor yet. I haven't checked the timing either.

That is typical gap, check the owners manual or under hood or front of engine for gap.

Play it safe do the cap and rotor, if you know how to check timing I would do it, even rent a gun if needed.

If it is misfiring consistently (as in a dead miss) you should be able to individually (temporarily) pull plug wires to see if there is a difference in the way the car runs. If you pull a plug wire up and the engine doesn't run any worse, then you narrowed the misfire down to a specific cylinder. I definitely don't think your spark plug gap is causing any problems unless you've bent the tip of one of them.
