what size rod for welding this manifold

loving the welds on this manifold what size filler on this or would it be done with a few runs maybe looks great [IMG]

Looks like a schedule 40 with wide prep bevel. Root and cap passes, I'd guess. Pictures not good enough to tell much more.

I feel like when your tubing butt welds are wider than your 1/2in flange fillet welds something was lost in translation.

yeah im not a fan of those welds...... personally i use 1/16" for sch pipe welding..... that mani above could have be done with 3/32" or 1/16" its all in how u feed the rod into the puddle.
