The Thread Got Locked Before Monkey Explained "Froggie Panties"
I WISH I WAS IN ENGLAND
Melody--Dixie
I wish I was in England,
I do, I do,
I'd go down to Trafalgar Square,
To see Lord Nelson's statue,
Get fucked! Get fucked! You one-armed pommie bastard!
I wish I was in Sydney,
I do, I do,
The finest town in all the world,
Except for one small problem,
The place! Is full! Of ******* Aussie bastards!
I wish I was in Paris,
I do, I do,
I'd go down to the Moulin Rouge,
To see the Can-Can dancers,
Get off! Get off! Get off your Froggie panties!
I'm still scratching my head over this one...

the thread 'should' have been locked on the first page.... but OH what fun it is to let it go on for a while longer letting everyone argue.

just to make things stragiht, i think most of the crap is useless too, but eh, I dont like it when people deny my culture. i didnt even go and look at the monkey bars, just wanted to defend my country.
The other thread was amusing...this forum needs to stop thinking we are going to convert the non-believers. It ain't gonna happen.
A lot of younger people don't have the funds to make their cars distinctive AND put them on the track. Since expressing their individuality is so important for people up until they are around drinking age, most kids choose to build a "dope" car rather than learning to drive it better. Think about it...how many high-schoolers do we see driving in HPDEs? None, but they came out in droves for the Hyperfest. They will learn eventually.

Its interesting, cause you cant drive in japan till 18, but people still buy these parts. I think its just because they really think its good for the car. Ignorance is not stupidity, IMO
So Froggie Panties are a french girl's panties?
Raz - I tend to agree. I find it hard to criticize people when I can tell they don't know any better. When I was a high school kid, if someone told me that brace thingy was functional, I wouldn't have know they were full of ****.
A lot of people in this forum were gearheads in high school, so their tolerance for 16-21 year-olds who don't know the difference between show and go is pretty much zero. Even the kid in the Focus who rolled at an autox was ridiculed for being a stunna because he didn't have a proper roll bar or cage.
suddenly wonders what people say behind his back since he has no roll protection

It's not that people around here hate on the stunnas because they don't know any better. It's that they WONT ******* LISTEN WHEN YOU TRY TO TEACH THEM SOMETHING THAT MIGHT SAVE THEIR LIVES OR AT A MINUMUM SAVE THEM SOME MONEY. That's what is frustrating and why I don't bother trying anymore.
So... All hail monkeybarz and Civics riding on bumpstops and clear white brake lights and chrome extinguishers zip tied to the plastic A pillar trim piece!!! It's shizzytizsite.
There. I feel better

As noted, Froggie=Frenchperson. So, Froggie Panties would be panties belonging to a Frenchperson.

I do belive it's a bump stop for his upper control arms. Notice how slizzammed that phat ride is?

what's the rubber thing that looks like a toilet plunger that's attached to the tubing?
****, I didn't even notice his tires right there...I was mezmerized by all the blue. I also didn't notice that there was another plunger on the other side.

but since nobody in here cares about that stuff and is more critical about the frame work that has been made to bolt it to....
I bet you there's naws flowing through that blue tubing. Come on you know it.
I would like to thank everyone involved in this heated x-brace/culture/whateverTheRealDebate is, debate. It made for some very amusing reading. Great job all! Keep it up, I want to be entertained.

So how does that work? I assume the rubber boot is the top of a shock or something that gets filled w/ compressed air/gas and that is what controls height along with some sort of helper spring or is it litterally an airbag in place of the spring? I wouldn't have thought the air/gas tubing to be rigid - never saw an airbag setup though so what do I know.
Gentlemen, thank you for the laugh. What a very entertaining thread that was.
As for the plunger thing, gotta be an adjustment **** for the hydros.
Get it? Plunger, hydros (as in: water).
I slay me.
