Default Exhaust fitment question

Was wondering if an hks hi-power exhaust off a 94-99 GSR would fit on a 96 LS? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No it will not.

94-99 GSR exhausts are a different length than the 94-01 LS/GS/RS, 98-01 GSR and 97-01 ITR

You will need to modify it to fit.

What kind of adjustments would I have to make to get it to fit? I'm getting it used and for a pretty good price. Do you think it would cost more to buy a brand new one (ie buddy club pro spec II for $500) or get this one for $200 and modify it to fit?

If he said it was just the length is different then I think u can take it to a muffler shop and have them cut n re-welded the way you want and it shouldn't be much...my brother had an itr muffler cut/re-welded to fit his Ek4 for less than 20$ at a local muffler shop..

Yeah he said the length was the only difference, is shorter for gsr than ls. Hopefully like you said all I would need is for a muffler shop to make a piece and bolt that right in between the cat and the exhaust. There's not that many shops around Frederick and the ones I've called about any type of exhaust work costs at least $100. You know of any places around this area that would be able to do something like this?

I just saw you were in Cali jdmcrx, lol, I'm sure you probably don't know of any places out here. Damn I miss Cali. Although I don't miss all the smogging of cars I had to go through.
