What do I really need to do (or not do)?

I know what you are thinking, man that $600 service seems over priced...it is. What you really need to do is what the above poster mentioned and refer to your service manual. If you feel that the 60k service is something you don`t want to waste the money on, perform just the recommendations from the service manual. It will most likely be engine air filter and cabin air filter, possibly a tire rotation, check the brakes (you`ll probably be due for a rear brake service).

 

indeed... and by no means was I suggesting that you MUST use a dealer. look at the manual and feel free to search out the best price if that is your governing aspect.
