Default B16 turbo, AC fan removal

Hey!

Just getting to the end of my b16 turbo project. Having some problem fitting the wastegate couse of the AC. I would really want to retain my AC so here's the question. Could i just remove the AC fan or would it my break ac condensor? Or should i just remove it all?

Spec:

Revhard manifold
Turbonetics stege 3 turbo, A/R 0.63. 50Trim
Turbonetics wastegate
"home made" 3" downpipe

Well the fan is also the mount for the condenser. You could get newer smaller waste gate like a Turbo Smart. Or you could cut the fan out of the shroud and put a slim fan in or in front. Another option is having the AC lines remade to clear the waste gate.

Looks like they had a mount bracket made and put a fan in front of the condenser. I dont like how the AC lines are touching the ram horn though, I see it touching in at least 3 places.

I had the same setup as yours previously. Just buy a slim fan and mount it on the outside of the condensor, make sure you change the polarity of your fan. This will also give you room to work with a dump tube. Oh and good luck with the revhard manifold, i had boost creep issues all the time with that damn manifold
