Gear issues?
OK so i live in Japan and have a 97 Honda ITR.
When my car is off it will go into every gear, every now and then it will take a tiny bit of force and maybe some wiggling to get it into the gear i want, usually 1st 5th or reverse.
Now when my car is on it will not go into any gear at all, i dont force it hard at all but i will give it a push and it will refuse to go into gear, and if i try reverse it gives me that grinding sound.
Now if i start it from 1st gear i am good and shift is alittle rough but it will shift when moving but as soon as i come to a stop it will refuse the go into gear again and i have to turn the car off and pop it back into first and start.
I saw the clutch fluid was dirty so i bleed it and filled it again untill it was clear, this still didnt help.
Now i went ahead and changed out the master and slave and this fixed the problem for about 2 minutes then started again.
I have also read a thread about the pedal adjustment and already did that
I am taking it to the do it yourself shop on friday and am going to take a look at the clutch and such. Before i go removing the transmission do you guys have any clue what this could be? And if you believe its the pressure plate or bearings or something could you send me a pic of what a good and bad one looks like. Thank you very much

Thanks for the replies. Took the tranny off and found that whoever owned the car before me put a clutch to small in and it dug into the pressure plate which was bad as well
