What year model is my b16a2 block (Australia) (see pics)?

What year model is my b16a2 block (Australia) (see pics)?
I suspect my head and my block are not the original pair. My head is stamped 99 but from my research this block is a 1 million series which is one of the earlier ones. Can anyone tell me what year it is or how I find out?
