H22 Turbo Project questions
1997 accord lx coupe
H22A swap
AEM fuel rail already installed
I have been gathering parts to boost this h22 just had a few questions/looking for opinions really. So anyways heres my list of parts I have purchased.
Turbonetics turbo 57trim
log style manifold / not cast it is pipes
2.5 in downpipe
treadstone intercooler piping kit flanged for hks
hks ssqv3 bov
tial wastegate with 7psi spring
mishimoto z-line intercooler
walboro 255 pump
My plan is to have the exhaust done at the muffler and i know i want 3 inch piping... kinda overwhelmed with the amount of brands of mufflers... any suggestions? (from experience please)
also with my current setup at only 7psi you guys think its neccesary to install higher flow injectors or will the 310cc H22A injectors suffice?
Also looking for suggestions/info/write ups on a dual or triple pod gauge setup...

What are your plans for tuning?
The stock 10-10.6:1 USDM (10.6-11:1 JDM) compression of the H22A doesn't always fair well with cross your fingers tuning.
With a stock internals H22A and 7psi, tuning is key.
Larger injectors wouldn't hurt. A set of ID725's (715cc) would allow you some room for fuel adjustment if you need it.

oh sry forgot to mention that
its running on a p28 already soceted and tuned on crome
after installing all the parts my plan is to get it towed to the muffler shop for custom exhaust then straight to the speed shop to get it tuned on the dyno (abel racing in oklahoma)

So your good to go for tuning then.
Someone else will have to chime in about a muffler for turbo. I'm going to go with a Flowmaster 40 series Delta flow. I have heard it on an N/A 4 cylinder and I like the tone it has.
Good luck with the build
