Default How are these rear lights made fit?

HEy folks! Seen these class rear lights, look like a sort of Skyline style. Anyway, just wondering how they're made fit without altering the boot lid itself, as they are a wider light at the bottom than the standard light they replace?

Is the whole bootlid changed, would fitting these be a lot of hassle? Anyone on here got them?

It requires lots of metal work to the lid and rear panels. In the end, it comes out very 1999

Those are just OEM Skyline lights.

Obviously the boot lid and body of the car were modified (cutting, welding, and bodywork/paint) in order to get that look. Definitely a lot of hassle, especially if you have to ask.....
