Default Dx cluster to Si wiring

Hello, ive recently purchased a 91 hatch that had the cluster plugs removed from it. Instead of the factory Dx cluster theres what I believe is a Si cluster. I went to a junk yard and cut off the plugs from a 90 sedan now the problem I have is on the two plugs. On one plug all of the wires match up but one, and the same for the other plug. Can anyone tell me why or show me a wiring diagram of both clusters? Thanks in advance!!

Ps I have a Chiltion manual but the wiring schematics arent like they used to be.

Im wondering why the sedan plugs matched all but two wires on the dx harness? I dont know off hand which ones they were but can find out if someone needs to know for sure.

I have a 91 Dx and when I bought it the kid already cut the plugs off then stuck the cluster in to hide it. I cut the plugs off of a 88-91 sedan (not sure which year) and while soldering I noticed one wire on one plug didnt match the harness and the same for the other plug.

unfourtantly I am not one of those guys that saves links to his research. Google the gauge swap 88 to 91 or vis versa. I traced where the wires went acording to location (colors were useless in my case) and the main power (yellow) was on the Big pigtail rather the small
Hopefully this helps I can elaborate more if you like!

so which is it? 88-91 do not have the same harnesses. was the cluster cover rounded or squared? was the emergency light switch located on the cluster cover or the steering wheel cover?

Ok forgive me for not elaborating more...

The CAR is a 91 Dx, the kid said whoever owned it before put a different dash into it (I can take pics) Im new to Civics so im unsure as to weather its a Crx dash or a Si one? Also im not completely sure which year sedan I pulled the plugs out of, I believe it was a 90.

What would be the difference regarding the plugs from 88-89 and 90-91? I know the sedan I cut the plugs off of had cruise control.

Could anyone post a wiring diagram of a 88-89 civic and a 90-91 civic? Im confused as to what would be different?
