Guys I have a zc dohc motor that idles weird when cold. When I first start the car it will idle high around 2100 and gradulay come down. Before the engine comes up to normal operating temp if you give it gas it will climb up as normal then return to a lower idle but "rises" up a few hundred on its own than again returns to normal. The car runs fine when warm. I checked the vacuum at operating temp and its a steady needle on 20.
Any ideas? Sorry if that sounds confusing to read.

 

If it has one check your FITV. It wouldn't hurt to clean both your FITV and IACV at this point.

 

yeah I will try to clean the IACV, I do not believe the zc has a FITV.
