Hey guys,

I'm trying to buy a new set of axles and a guy in my area is offering a brand new set from Car Quest that he purchased for his 93 civic dx and he says that they are interchangeable. I have read some things online about axles not being interchangeable between ABS and non-ABS models, but they are both 26 spline axles. Should these fit? Also, I could not for the life of me seem to find a website online where I could look up Car Quest car parts so I could search for the ****. Please let me know what you think.

If you don't have ABS then having the ABS axle isn't a problem. You just have a ring around the axles that won't hurt anything. My 89 crx's axles will have the abs ring on it. For the b-series swaps, they quit making different axles for abs and non abs.

I have an non ABS 96 civic axle in my 88 crx. The only difference between the two was the diameter of the axle itself. The crx axle was about an 1/8 bigger in diameter, but the length and splines are the same. So, it with fit in, just isn't as strong.
