Hello. I have a cat back exhaust on my 93 del sol si. I want it to be quieter. Can i bolt on a stock-style muffler or is the cat back pipe bigger and won't just bolt right on? If so whats an economical way to make my exhaust not sound like a ricer burner? Thanks

 

That all depends on how big the aftermarket tubing is. You could always take it to an exhaust shop and they could weld in a neck-down or neck-up adapter if the two don't match.

 

I think its 2.5" do you know how big stock pipe is? how much do you think it would cost for me to take it to a shop to have that done

 

Stock size is 1.75 inches...

 

Why not just get a better muffler like a nice Magna Flow or Mugen Twin Loop, these are nice and quiet but flow well.

 

How much louder are they then a stock muffler?
